  Meeting to Discuss HOUSSE Standards
  Released: Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 5:00 PM
The TSPC will be hosting a meeting of stakeholders and interested parties to discuss revising the current HOUSSE standards for general education and to develop a multiple subjects HOUSSE for special education high school.

The meeting will be held on Monday, November 28, 2005, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Local Government Center (courtesy of the Oregon School Boards Association), Room 113, 1201 Court Street NE, Salem OR. Room 113 is on the 1st floor of the Local Government Center building directly to your right when using the north entrance.

Issues to consider include:
* Revising current HOUSSE standards for teachers;
* Creating HOUSSE standards for special education teachers (if necessary)
* Reviewing options for Social Studies HQT identification for Economics, Geography, History and Civics/Government

More specific agenda and information will be distributed at least one week prior to the meeting.

Parking is available in their parking lot, but a permit is needed. After parking in the lot, please come to the meeting room for a parking permit. If there is no parking available, metered parking is available nearby as well as residential parking, but you will need to move your car every two hours.
