  Meeting to Consider Licensure of Human Resource Professionals
  Released: Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 5:00 PM
 
 
 
At the November 2005 and January 2006 Commission meetings, Chuck Carpenter and John Young, representing the Oregon School Personnel Association, made presentations proposing the adoption of a license for persons who had completed the Human Resource Training program they designed. After a lengthy discussion, the Commission decided to develop a study group to review the issue.

The following Commissioners and interested parties will meet on Friday, April 21st, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Multnomah Education Service, 11611 NE Ainsworth Circle, Portland OR in the Seminar 3 room:

Pat Evenson-Brady, Commissioner
Greg Bell, Commissioner
Nancy Watt, Commissioner
Jan Martin, Crook County School District
Dave Halstead, Human Resources/Personnel, Centennial School District
Vickie Chamberlain, TSPC Executive Director
Keith Menk, TSPC Deputy Director and Coordinator of Teacher Education
