The following is a news release from the Oregon Teacher Standards and Commission. If there are more details that we can provide for you, please feel free to contact us (see Contact Us).
  Annual Disciplinary Lists
Released: Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 5:00 PM
The Teacher Standards and Practices Commission is required by Oregon Revised Statute 342.203 to annually circulate a list of all teachers and administrators whose licenses have been suspended, revoked or who have been reprimanded or placed on probation during the preceding 12 months. These annual lists are available on the TSPC Web site. In addition, you may now view the actual order imposing discipline. This information may be accessed under the directory entitled TSPC Discipline.

From the same Web page sited above, you may also access a Master Discipline List to view an alphabetized list of all educators sanctioned since 1997 along with a copy of the disciplinary orders adopted by the Commission. *Please note this may take a moment to download due to its large size.

These lists will now be updated to reflect disciplinary orders adopted after every Commission meeting. Orders adopted by the Commission at the February 7-8, 2008, meeting are listed under the partial 2008 Discipline List and incorporated into the master discipline list.

The above information has also been associated with each educator's online licensure file and can be accessed with the educator's positive ID information. If an educator has been disciplined since 1997, the discipline order is now part of their online file that can be accessed through License Inquiry on the Web with positive ID - first name, middle name or initial, last name, birth date and last four digits of the educator's social security number. The limited access display also includes items such as correspondence, and fingerprint verification.

If you have any questions regarding this information, please contact Melody Hanson at melody.hanson@state.or.us or 503-373-1260.
