  Public Hearing on Amendment of Administrative Rules
  Released: Monday, August 18, 2008 at 5:00 PM
The Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 29, 2008, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the TSPC office, 465 Commercial Street NE, Salem, OR on the administrative rules listed below.

584-020-0040 Grounds for Disciplinary Action
584-048-0115 Reinstatement of Expired Licenses
584-050-0018 Reinstatement of Revoked License, Registration, or Right to Apply for a License or Registration
584-060-0162 Restricted Transitional Teaching License
584-070-0112 Restricted Transitional School Counselor License
584-070-0211 Initial School Psychologist
584-070-0221 Continuing School Psychologist License
584-080-0031 [Continuing Superintendent] Distinguished Administrator License

584-060-0041 Preparatory Standards for Continuing Teaching License
584-070-0050 Preparatory Standards for Initial School Counselor

The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Hearing and Statement of Need and Fiscal Impact were filed with the Secretary of State on August 14, 2008, and will be published in the September 1, 2008 edition of the Oregon Bulletin.

Both written and oral testimony may be presented for the Commission's consideration. The proceedings will be recorded and a summary of all testimony will be presented to the Commission. The Commission will allow testimony on these rules until 4:00 pm on October 23, 2008 at the October Commission meeting in Salem.
