| TSPC will meet November 5-6, 2009

The Teacher Standards and Practices Commission will meet November 5-6, 2009, at the Best Western Hood River Inn, 1108 East Marina Way, Hood River in the Columbia Room. The Executive Committee will meet from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, November 4. The separate Standing Committees of Program Approval, Licensure and Professional Practices will meet Thursday morning, November 5, from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. The full Commission will convene at 8:30 a.m. to consider Preliminary Business, Program Approval Issues, Licensure Issues, Commission Business, Professional Practices and Administrative Rule Proposals, Adoptions and Reports.
On Friday, November 6, the full Commission will reconvene at 8:00 a.m. in Executive Session (non-public) to consider the employment-related performance of the Executive Director and disciplinary cases on educators. Immediately following, the Commission will then convene in public session for full Commission consideration of discipline issues.

The Best Western Hood River Inn is located just off I-84 at Exit 64 making the distance 64 miles from downtown Portland and just 55 miles from Portland International Airport. After exiting at Exit 64, take a left at the bottom of the ramp and take the first right (after the westbound off ramp) into the Inn's entry drive.
