  Special Meeting of Program Approval Committee of the Commission
  Released: Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2:05 PM
 
 
 

The Program Approval Committee will meet on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the University of Portland, Franz Hall, Murphy conference room 426, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd., Portland OR 97203-5798.

The Committee will review the following items:
Grand Canyon University - Initial Teacher Prep Program
Northwest Christian University MED Program
Concordia Site Visit
Portland State University Special Ed Program
Western Oregon University Special Ed Program
Marylhurst Drama Endorsement
Review of Social Worker Proposed Program
Annual Reports Review
Update on Site Visit Training
Division 17 Review of Draft Rules
Professional Development Discussion
Endorsement Area Standards (Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Foreign Language)
Update on Survey of Graduates and Employers

The committee's recommended course of action on these items will be considered at the Commission's next regularly scheduled Commission meeting on November 4-5, 2010, at the Holiday Inn Wilsonville.
