  NOTICE OF JANUARY 22, 2016 TSPC MEETING

The Teacher Standards and Practices Commission will meet January 22, 2016, at the Roth's Fresh Markets Inc., 1130 Wallace Rd NW, Salem, OR 97304.

A subcommittee of the Commission will meet on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to discuss review professional practices policy issues for Commission discussion later this calendar year. The subcommittee will meet at Teacher Standards and Practices Commission, 250 Division St NE, Salem, OR 97301.

The Executive Committee will meet on Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Teacher Standards and Practices Commission, 250 Division St NE, Salem, OR 97301. The Committee will primarily be discussing meeting agenda, 2016 committee assignments and the executive director hiring process.


On Friday, January 22nd, the Commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. in public session to discuss the implementation of the new online application system, hiring the executive director and to adopt rules need for the ongoing implementation of the system. Immediately following the public session, the Commission will meet in Executive Session (non-public) to consider legal matters and disciplinary cases. Following completion of Executive Session Business, the Commission will then re-convene in public session for full Commission consideration of discipline orders and other business related to professional practice that must be conducted in public session. The Commission expects to formally adjourn before 3:00 p.m.
