  TSPC will meet October 10-11, 2002
  Released: Friday, September 27, 2002 at 5:00 PM
 
 
 
TSPC will meet October 10-11 at the Comfort Suites in the Oregon/Pacific Room at 630 Hawthorne Avenue SE in Salem. The Executive Committee will meet at 7:30 a.m. The full Commission will convene at 8:30 a.m. on October 10 and expected to conclude on or about 3:15 p.m. on October 11.

Business will include: election of new officers; discussion of policy issues and action related to the continuing license; consideration of disciplinary matters; adoption of rules related to staff proposed amendments, reconfiguration of the six specialty areas that require dual levels of authorization, reading licensure, transitional school counselor license, authorization levels for school counseling, practicum for continuing school counselor program and continuing school counselor license, waiver of academic or experience requirements by the commission; and consideration of revisions to the 2002 Handbook for Commissioners.
